"I heard you paint houses"
Martin Scorcese’s biopic The Irishman changed the direction for technology in VFX and we’re proud to be part of that journey. SSVFX delivered 750 shots accounting for 75 minutes of the film, ranging from environments, FX, general comps and of course, de-aging. Lots of de-aging!
The Irishman was nominated for its outstanding Visual Effects at The Oscars, BAFTA’s, VES and countless others, while winning two VES awards including Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature.
